Allina Health provides training to physical therapists and prosthetists from Ukraine

[Fox 9 News, August 29, 2023] Allina Health’s Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute and Minneapolis Heart Institute hosted nine physical therapists and prosthetists from Ukraine. The Allina Health team provided training and insight on lower limb amputation and more. As Fox 9 News reported, the war in Ukraine has drastically increased the number of soldiers and civilians living with limb loss injuries.

The Protez Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded by a former Allina Health prosthetist, reached out to Allina Health for training as the organization works to increase access to limb loss care in Ukraine.
