Air quality and heat

[KARE 11, July 25, 2023] Minnesota is getting hit with a heat and air quality warning double whammy this week. Temps will reach well into the 90s for the next few days, at the same the Minnesota Pollution Control agency is warning about poor air quality due to Canadian wildfire smoke to be followed by ground level ozone pollution later this week. Allina Health pulmonologist Andrew Stiehm, MD, talked to KARE 11 News about the air quality issues, and Mercy Hospital emergency physician Peter Currie, MD, talked with KARE 11 about the dangers of the high heat.
