Last fall, a serious neck injury left Ethan Glynn paralyzed while playing football. Attitude is everything, and Ethan's mindset and sense of humor is nothing short of unwavering resolve. After months of rehabilitation in Denver and at Allina Health Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute – Golden Valley, Ethan is finally able to cheer his team on in person at the rinks. At a recent physical therapy session at Courage Kenny in Golden Valley, he conquered the standing chair and continues to strengthen his upper body.
“I think it's been amazing,” said Cassidy Durkin, Ethan’s mom. “It's like a switch went off. I don't want to say he's a whole different kid, but just sort of being in his environment with his friends, with his stuff, he's just smiling and happy."
