Owatonna Hospital welcomes the first baby born in 2026

The baby girl arrived Jan. 1 at 6:09 a.m.

OWATONNA, Minn. (Jan. 02, 2026) — The Owatonna Hospital care team helped an Owatonna, Minn. family welcome Anisa Ali to the world on Thursday, Jan. 1 at 6:09 a.m. Weighing six pounds, fifteen ounces and measuring 19.75 inches at birth, Anisa is the first baby born at Owatonna Hospital this year. Anisa joins mom, dad and three siblings.
