Mercy Hospital welcomes the first baby born in 2026

The baby boy arrived Jan. 1 at 3:30 a.m.

Coon Rapids, Minn. (Jan. 08, 2026) — Allina Health Mercy Hospital’s care team helped an Andover, Minn. couple welcome Graham Grimmer to the world on Thursday, Jan. 1 at 3:30 a.m. Weighing seven pounds, eleven ounces and measuring 21 inches at birth, Graham is the first baby born at Mercy Hospital this year. Congrats to parents, Kylie and Daniel Grimmer and his brother and sister!
