Owatonna Hospital welcomes the first baby born in 2025

The baby boy arrived Jan. 1 at 2:25 p.m.

OWATONNA, Minn. (Jan. 02, 2024) — The Owatonna Hospital care team helped a Faribault, Minn. family welcome Gael Manuel Gutierrez Linares to the world on Wednesday, Jan. 1 at 2:25 p.m. Weighing eight pounds, three ounces and measuring 20 ½ inches at birth, Gael is the first baby born at Owatonna Hospital this year, and the first child for mother, Neikelly ("Nei") Linares Bohorquez and father, Carlos Gutierrez.

Baby Gael was originally due on Jan. 3. Congratulations to all and welcome, Gael!
