Opportunities for Wright County students pursuing health care career

Allina Health Foundation to award 10 health care scholarships in 2025

BUFFALO, Minn. (Jan. 16, 2025) — Allina Health Foundation (formerly Buffalo Hospital Foundation) will award 10 scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each, to students in Wright County who plan to pursue health care careers in their post-secondary education.

This year scholarships will be awarded to one student from each of the nine local school districts, as well as one homeschool or private school student. Students must meet the following selection criteria:

  • Acceptance at either a two or four-year post-secondary institution for fall of 2025.
  • Pursuit of a health care degree.
  • Respect of their peers and teachers.
  • Homeschool or private school student must show proof of residency in Wright County.

The Wright County health care scholarships are funded entirely through sales at the Buffalo Hospital Gift Shop. Gift Shop hours are Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
