New orthopedic surgeon joins Allina Health New Ulm Medical Center

NEW ULM, Minn. (Sep. 10, 2025) — Allina Health New Ulm Medical Center is proud to welcome a new board-certified orthopedic surgeon.  Jordan Ramage, DO, is passionate about helping his patients move their bodies as efficiently and pain-free as possible, and he is currently taking new patients. 

“I enjoy the surgical complexity and the mechanical skill required to operate,” shared Dr. Ramage, who loves orthopedics because it combines his love of craftmanship and his interest in the human body. “I also enjoy the challenge of helping patients avoid surgery when possible.”

New Ulm Medical Center was recently named among the 2025 Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals by The Chartis Center for Rural Health, and Dr. Ramage will only add to that excellence. The Utah native completed medical school in Boise, ID. As a husband and father of four sons, he said he quickly fell in love with New Ulm Medical Center because the town is great for raising a family and the hospital allows him to treat a range of patients and orthopedic conditions. 

“Although patients may have the same diagnosis, the approach and treatment to their problem is typically very individualized,” said Dr. Ramage.
