Allina Health Hastings Clinic now offers urgent care

Hastings-area residents can get same day care for many conditions

HASTINGS, Minn. (Oct. 15, 2025) — People who live and work in the Hastings area now have faster access to see a provider when experiencing an illness or injury that’s not life-threatening, thanks to the area’s first urgent care opening at Allina Health Hastings Clinic, 1880 N. Frontage Rd. Allina Health Urgent Care – Hastings converts the clinic’s previous “same day” appointments to a "walk-in" service, which means people can be helped seven days a week.

The Hastings urgent care hours include:

  • Monday, Thursday, and Friday – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Tuesday and Wednesday – 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday – 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

How it works

Simply walk into Allina Health Urgent Care – Hastings via the main clinic entrance and check in to be seen. For added convenience, use the “On My Way” feature on Allina Health’s website or Allina Health’s app on a mobile device to view wait times, let the clinic know you're coming, and get text updates about your visit. “On My Way” functions similarly to “call ahead seating” at a restaurant, putting your name on a wait list of patients for an urgent care location. Wait times may vary based on the number of patients and the severity of their care needs.

Why it’s important

"As we head into the busy flu and respiratory illness season, the availability of urgent care can help treat community members more quickly and alleviate the frustration that may come with longer wait times in the hospital emergency department,” said Todd Smith, MD, Medical Director for Allina Health Urgent Care. "We’re excited to offer this expanded service to community members so we can help treat more people quickly and get them back to being productive and enjoying life."
