MINNEAPOLIS (May 15, 2025) — Mental Health America (MHA) recently awarded Allina Health with its 2025 Platinum Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health. This is the third consecutive year Allina Health has earned this recognition. The platinum distinction is the highest level associated with MHA’s Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health, which is the nation’s leading certification recognizing employers who are committed to creating mentally healthy workplaces.
As a Bell Seal recipient, Allina Health joins a select community of organizations – 359 employers across 40 states and 21 industries – who are committed to transforming the workplace into more supportive and psychologically safer spaces.
"Allina Health is proud to be recognized with the Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health for the third year in a row," said Mary Beth Lardizabal, DO, vice president, Allina Health Mental Health and Addiction services. "Our leadership team’s ongoing commitment to employee well-being is unmatched, and I credit our many workplace mental health champions for their dedication to creating a positive workplace culture where all employees can thrive. We know when we take care of ourselves first, the patients in our care will benefit."
Employers earn MHA’s Bell Seal certification by meeting or exceeding the national standards for best workplace mental health practices. Allina Health underwent a rigorous evaluation of its policies and practices in four areas: workplace culture, benefits, compliance, and wellness programs. Only two in five employers meet the standards for certification.
Allina Health is committed to providing the best for its employees and looks forward to continued work to uphold the standards set forth by the Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health. Learn more about MHA and the Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health at mhanational.org/bestemployers.
