COON RAPIDS, Minn. (Oct. 6, 2025) — Today, the Allina Health Coon Rapids Clinic marks the completion of its nearly three-year, over 86,000 square foot remodel as its Fridley Clinic’s dermatology services permanently move into the new space. As the largest and busiest clinic within Allina Health’s 90+ clinic system, this primary and multi-specialty care center, located at 9055 Springbrook Dr. in Coon Rapids, now offers more specialty services, refreshed spaces and an improved layout for easier navigation to better serve patients in the northwest metro area.
Originally built in 1985, and expanded in 1995, the clinic’s latest remodel makes it more patient-friendly and efficient by creating better traffic flow through the building, adding improved waiting spaces and centralized reception desks on each floor to streamline check-ins for all specialties on a floor. This project’s efficient use of space creates an increase in the number of exam rooms and more room for specialized equipment, allowing nearly all existing services to grow. Examples include adding another 3-D mammography machine for greater access for advanced breast cancer screening, increasing the size of the mental health suite and expanding vision services to now offer laser eye procedures.

Evans added, “I’d like to thank community and care team members for their patience during the past three years as the clinic remained open during construction. As a trusted health ally in the community, Allina Health is committed to providing exceptional care and services the community needs, and I believe patients will be pleased with all the clinic now offers.”
