Allina Health appoints Kelly Spratt as Mercy Hospital president
As vice president of Operations at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, he leads Surgical Services, Support Services and Facilities and has played a critical role overseeing the design and construction of the Richard M. Schulze Surgical and Critical Care Center.

Spratt began working at Allina Health in 2019. He previously served as president of Buffalo and Cambridge hospitals.

Before joining Allina Health, Spratt held leadership roles at Hennepin Healthcare and North Memorial, where he led numerous strategic initiatives focused on expanding access to high-quality care.
Mercy Hospital is ranked the second-best hospital in the Twin Cities by U.S. News & World Report and recognized as High Performing in 18 procedures and conditions.
Spratt will partner with Jay MacGregor, MD, vice president of Medical Affairs and interim president of Mercy Hospital, to ensure a smooth transition when he assumes the role in late December.
