Meet the first baby born at New Ulm Medical Center in 2024
The baby boy was born on Jan. 1 at 7:19 a.m.
NEW ULM, Minn. (Jan. 02, 2024) — Bradley Carson Moldaschel was born at 7:19 a.m. Monday, Jan.1, making him the first baby born at New Ulm Medical Center this year. He has quite a birth story. Because he was due Saturday, Jan. 13, his mom, Alysia, didn’t think her initial pain at home meant she was in labor. When her water broke, she rushed to the Emergency Department at 6:50 a.m., and delivered Bradley 29 minutes later without an epidural. Both are doing well today.

Bradley weighed five pounds, 13 ounces and measured 19 ½ inches long at birth. He joins parents, Joe and Alysia, and his brother. The family lives in New Ulm.
