Allina Health New Ulm Medical Center welcomes new outpatient mental health provider

New Ulm, Minn. (Nov. 6, 2023) — Allina Health is pleased to announce the addition of our new outpatient mental health provider at New Ulm Medical Center. Angela Daub, LICSW, is a licensed clinical social worker. She will begin seeing patients the week of Nov. 13.

“I provide client-centered, evidence-based therapy,” said Daub. “I help clients gain insight into how their environment, past and present, can impact their mental health.”

The Minnesota native comes to New Ulm from the area of Marshall and Redwood Falls, MN, where she worked as an outpatient therapist with adults and adolescents. She focuses on working through grief and prioritizing mindfulness. Daub says she chose to work in New Ulm because of its pleasant and welcoming environment, as well as its proximity to her hometown in Morrison County, MN.

Daub says her work is not one-sided, as she guides her patients and learns from them. Daub counts learning to be resilient in the midst of adversity as one of the many things her patients have taught her.

Daub is most proud of her adult children and counts learning to like vegetables among her goals. To schedule an appointment with Daub, call 507-217-5168.
