Allina Health expanding care offerings at Allina Health – Eden Prairie

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (Aug. 24, 2023) — Allina Health is pleased to announce patients will be able to access the following care offerings at Allina Health – Eden Prairie beginning in mid-2024: Primary Care, Orthopedics, Women’s Health, physical and occupation therapy through Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute and cardiac rehab via Allina Health Minneapolis Heart Institute.

“Allina Health is committed to providing high-quality, accessible care closer to home and these new services provide more options for patients living in the west metro,” said Dave Slowinske, senior vice president, Allina Health Operations.

The new services will be offered in the office building at 775 Prairie Center Drive, which is the same building where Allina Health – Eden Prairie opened in 2022 to provide world-class, integrated primary and cardiovascular care through a collaboration between Minneapolis Heart Institute and Abbott Northwestern General Medicine Associates. This will be a 45,000-square-foot expansion for Allina Health.

“The partnership between Minneapolis Heart Institute and Abbott Northwestern General Medicine Associates has allowed patients to have a seamlessly connected care journey between primary and cardiovascular care and patients will now have more specialty care options they can easily navigate,” said Slowinske. “Allina Health believes in Whole Person Care, and it’s our goal to ensure patients can easily transition between clinics, virtual care and in-home care options and this investment in Eden Prairie is another tangible example of that vision.”
