Allina Health’s Regina Hospital receives first U.S. News & World Report High Performing Ranking in hip fracture category

Minneapolis, MN (July 26, 2022) - Allina Health’s Regina Hospital received its first U.S. News & World Report national recognition with a high performing grade in hip fracture from the just release U.S. News & World Report 2022-23 Best Hospitals rankings. Allina Health’s River Falls Area Hospital also joined Regina Hospital in receiving this high performing grade in hip fracture for the first time.

Allina Health’s Abbott Northwestern, United and Mercy hospitals were ranked first, fourth (tie) and sixth, respectively, in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area in the new U.S. News & World Report 2022-23 Best Hospitals rankings released today. Abbott Northwestern was ranked first in the Twin Cities and second in all of Minnesota for the tenth consecutive year.

Allina Health’s United Hospital in St. Paul also received high performing grades in in 11 adult procedures and conditions this year: chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), colon cancer surgery, diabetes, heart attack, heart failure, hip replacement, kidney failure, knee replacement, lung cancer surgery, prostate cancer surgery and stroke.
