Allina Health marks one-year observance of the Allina Health Clinic – Buffalo Crossroads attack

February 9, 2022 marks one year since senseless violence that resulted in the loss of Lindsay Overbay and injured four of our team members at Allina Health Clinic – Buffalo Crossroads. While the tragic event left us heartbroken, over the last year we have been deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support our team has received from the Buffalo community, our health care partners, and communities across the state.

To acknowledge the one-year observance of the attack at the Allina Health Clinic – Buffalo Crossroads and to show our continued support and solidarity with the victims, teams throughout Allina Health and the Buffalo community, will mark the day by:

  • Participating in a moment of silence at 11 a.m. on Feb. 9, 2022
  • Wearing purple as a sign of support for the Allina Health Clinic – Buffalo Crossroads team
  • The Allina Health Clinic – Buffalo Crossroads and Buffalo Hospital will light up in purple, the color of the Buffalo community, from 4 p.m. – 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 8 and Wednesday Feb. 9
  • Inviting the community to send their messages of support to the staff at Allina Health Clinic – Buffalo Crossroads by emailing: BuffaloCrossroads@Allina.com

The Allina Health Clinic – Buffalo Crossroads will privately gather on Wednesday, Feb. 9 to mark the one-year observance of the senseless attack.
