Allina Health announces new President of Allina Health Neuroscience, Spine and Pain Institute

MINNEAPOLIS (Sept. 27, 2022) — Allina Health is pleased to announce that Sanjay Pratap Singh, MD, FAAN, FANA will join the organization as President of Allina Health Neuroscience, Spine and Pain Institute on Dec. 6.

“Dr. Singh is an exciting addition to the Allina Health team and will play a pivotal role in our ongoing mission to transform care in our region,” said Sara Criger, senior vice president, Operations and Acute Care Services. “Our Whole Way to Better journey is anchored in creating a care experience that is easy to navigate for our patients, and Dr. Singh will develop enhanced alignment with key providers to achieve top outcomes, seamlessly coordinated care and a highly reliable patient experience.” 

Dr. Singh will join Allina Health from Creighton University School of Medicine, where he served as professor and chairman since 2010. He also served as Director of the Neurological Institute at CHI Health; Executive Medical Director of the Neuroscience Service Line at CHI Health; Director, CHI Health – Creighton University Epilepsy Center; and a member of the board of directors for the CHI Health Clinic.

Dr. Singh received his medical degree from MLN Medical College in Allahabad, U.P. India and completed residencies in Neurology at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and Epilepsy & Clinical Neurophysiology at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn.
