Allina Health postpones May 29 community art installation event

MINNEAPOLIS (May 27, 2021) – Due to logistical challenges around Allina Health’s May 29 large-scale art installation community event outside Allina Health Commons/Midtown Exchange Building, we have made the decision to postpone the event to a future date and time, yet to be determined.

Allina Health employees have spent the week reflecting and honoring the loss of George Floyd. While we are saddened to postpone this opportunity to gather with community to remember, reflect and renew together, we look forward to a similar, future event to provide our employees and members of our community an enhanced opportunity to participate in a community art event as an act of healing together and creates a space for reflection.

Artwork has been provided by local artist, Kprecia Ambers with a goal of providing art to the community as a way to reflect and heal.

A coloring sheet featuring Kprecia Ambers artwork can be found here.
