Allina Health marks one-week observance of Buffalo Crossroads clinic attack

MINNEAPOLIS (February 15, 2021) — The senseless and tragic violence that took place on February 9, 2021 at Allina Health Clinic – Buffalo Crossroads left us heartbroken and we continue to be deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support.

Allina Health is a family. Buffalo is a family. Healthcare is family. To acknowledge the one-week observance of the senseless attack at the Allina Health Clinic – Buffalo Crossroads and to show our solidarity with the victims and the Buffalo community, we invite communities throughout the state to participate in a day of observation of this horrific event.

Fellow Minnesotans, including Allina Health employees, patients, and our health care colleagues can share their solidarity and support for the victims, their families and the Buffalo community on Tuesday, February 16:

  • Take a moment of silence at 11 a.m.
  • Wear purple, the color of the Buffalo community
  • Display purple lights
  • Post provided image on social media
  • Update social media profile image frame
  • Post on social media using hashtags: #BuffaloStrong, #AllinaStrong #HealthCareStrong

Purple lights of support will be able to be viewed throughout the Buffalo community, Allina Health Clinic – Buffalo Crossroads, Allianz Field in St. Paul and additional landmarks.
