Allina Health celebrates reaching one million volunteer-hours milestone

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (April 23, 2021) — Allina Health is celebrating its employees reaching one million volunteer hours logged over a decade of employees sharing their time and talents with their community. One million volunteer hours is financially equivalent to more than $26 million dollars of support to non-profit organizations across our service area. Employee volunteerism is one way employees can help strengthen Allina Health’s mission to improve community health and wellbeing.

“Allina Health plays a vital role in in our community, beyond what we do in our hospitals and clinics day-to-day,” said Ellie Zuehlke, Director of Community Benefit and Engagement at Allina Health. “Our organization is made up of thousands of employees whose care and commitment extends to our communities in numerous and personal ways. Supporting our employee’s volunteer efforts in ways that matter to them is another way Allina Health and our employees are building stronger, healthier communities.”
