(Minneapolis, MN) April 7, 2021 - To further its vision to deliver seamless, coordinated and compassionate breast cancer care delivered closer to home, Allina Health Cancer Institute is opening a comprehensive breast center in the Mercy Hospital Specialty Center on April 7, 2021.
The new Mercy Piper Breast Center is the first of its kind in the north metro area. The comprehensive breast cancer care program follows a multidisciplinary care model that aligns with the Abbott Northwestern and United Breast Centers. The Mercy Piper Breast Center includes state-of-the-art screening, diagnostics and treatment for breast cancer, as well as breast cancer education, genetic counseling and high-risk breast cancer programs.
“Our mission is to support our patients through every step of their experience,” said Dr. Natasha Rueth, surgical oncologist at the Mercy Piper Breast Center. “We believe that every patient deserves the best in cancer care technology and treatment methods in a compassionate setting that is solely focused on their needs.”

The Mercy Piper Breast Center will begin seeing patients on April 7, 2021 at its new location at 11850 Blackfoot Street NW in Coon Rapids. The center will provide breast imaging, appointments, genetic counseling, and breast cancer treatments.
