Allina Health Cancer Institute announces integrated radiation oncology practice at United Hospital

SAINT PAUL, Minn. (Oct. 12, 2021) – The Allina Health Cancer Institute (AHCI) is excited to announce the opening of a new, comprehensive radiation oncology center located within Allina Health’s United Hospital campus. The new radiation center is part of the Allina Health Cancer Institute’s larger vision to provide seamless, coordinated and compassionate cancer care to the east metro region.

Providing more integrated cancer care services for our east metro and Western Wisconsin patients is part of the Allina Health Cancer Institute’s intentional commitment to be a regionally differentiated cancer program that provides comprehensive, expert, person-centric cancer care that is evidence-based, coordinated across the full continuum and delivered close to home.

“Our mission is to ensure our patients feel supported through every step of their experience,” said Mike Koroscik, Vice President, Allina Health Cancer Institute. “We believe that every patient deserves the best in cancer care technology and treatment methods in a coordinated, compassionate setting that is solely focused on their specific needs.”

The Allina Health - Radiation Oncology - Saint Paul clinic will begin welcoming patients today, Oct. 11, 2021, at its new location at 310 Smith Avenue North, Saint Paul.

“Historically, cancer patients have had to navigate different locations and centers for screenings, appointments and treatments,” said Sara Criger, president of United Hospital. “Part of Allina Health’s Whole Way to Better journey is ensuring that every part of our health system works in coordination to create a seamless experience for our patients. Connecting care across the full continuum and providing a care experience that better fits the lives of our patients and their families is one of the most important services we can provide.”
