Allina Health’s New Ulm Medical Center receives High Performing Ranking in hip fracture category

Minneapolis, MN (July 26, 2022) - Allina Health’s New Ulm Medical Center has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report with a high performing grade in hip fracture from the new U.S. News & World Report 2022-23 Best Hospitals rankings for the first time. 

“It is a great honor to be recognized by U.S. News & World Report 2022-23 for our exceptional, high-quality hip fracture care,” said Toby Freier, president of New Ulm Medical Center. “This first time recognition is a testament to our team’s commitment to growth, innovation and whole person care for our patients.”

In addition to New Ulm Medical Center’s recognition, Allina Health’s Abbott Northwestern, United and Mercy hospitals were ranked first, fourth (tie) and sixth, respectively, in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area in the new U.S. News & World Report 2022-23 Best Hospitals rankings. Abbott Northwestern was ranked first in the Twin Cities and second in all of Minnesota for the tenth consecutive year.
