Allina Health’s Christine Moore promoted to Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources and Administrative Officer

MINNEAPOLIS (Nov. 2, 2021) — Christine Moore, formerly Allina Health’s Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer, has been appointed Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources and Administrative Officer. The new title reflects Moore’s expanded leadership and responsibilities to help drive Allina’s talent strategy, brand and marketing strategy, community benefit and engagement initiatives and communications and public affairs efforts.

“Christine Moore has been an integral part of Allina Health’s executive leadership team since she joined our organization in 2015,” said Allina Health CEO Penny Wheeler, MD. “Christine’s expanded responsibilities will not only sustain and increase our existing capabilities, but will improve their effectiveness through closer alignment with complementary functions. Her leadership and talents will help us continue to further our mission to bring Whole Person Care to life through the programs and services for all those we serve.”

“I am excited to work more closely with our talented teams to continue to amplify and acknowledge the extraordinary work that happens across the Allina Health system,” said Moore. “Documenting and lifting up the moments that matter is essential for our employees, patients and the communities we serve. By creating a cross-functional, collaborative structure we can achieve greater focus and alignment on service excellence, effective brand management, integrated communications, and robust talent strategies.”

Prior to joining Allina Health in 2015, Moore served as an executive human resources leader at Ecolab and Best Buy. In addition to her human resources experience, Moore has also held executive leadership roles overseeing business lines for Best Buy and Best Buy.com. She began her career at a management consulting agency. She earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Scripps College in Claremont, California, and she received her PhD in Organizational Psychology from Claremont Graduate University. She serves on the board of the Montessori Center of Minnesota and the board of St. Catherine University.
