Digital Care is a portfolio of patient-friendly digital content, including leaflets and videos, that your health care team may share with you via
email or text as part of your care.

Getting started

If your Allina Health care team has recommended Digital Care resources, you will receive an email or text message. These messages include a link to access the recommended content via your personal electronic device.


Digital Care resources can either be accessed via the link in the email or text from your health care team or via your Allina Health account. If you have an Allina Health account, look for the Digital Care section within your Allina Health account dashboard.

To access Digital Care recommended by your care team, you will need a current mobile number or email on file with us or have an Allina Health account.

FAQ

My care team said they would send me information via email and I haven’t received anything.

  • If you are not receiving emails, there are a couple of likely reasons: we do not have your current email address, or your email account is placing our emails into your spam or junk folder. Check your spam or junk folder. To make sure emails from health.account@allina.com are not being sent to junk mail, check the settings in your email account.

I entered my date of birth to access the information shared by my care team and nothing happened.

  • Check to be sure you entered your date of birth in the correct format (mm dd yyyy). You can also sign in to your Allina Health account to access your information, or sign up for an account if you don’t have one.  If you would like to speak with someone for help with sign-in issues, please call 866-301-6698, 7 days a week, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

How do I delete information that my care team has recommended when I no longer need it or it doesn’t seem relevant?

  • You can hide cards from your main feed by selecting the “Move to Archive” icon on the top right corner of the card you wish to archive.  Archived cards can be viewable from the “Show Archive Only” filter menu option.

How do I share content that my care team has recommended with my care circle and supporters?

  • You can share content with those who support you by forwarding the email you received with the link to your Digital Care resources. When logging in, they will be promoted to validate your birthdate to access your content. Remember that whoever you forward the link to is able to see all of the Digital Care content your care team has recommended. Make sure that whoever you are forwarding the link to is a trusted member of your care circle.
