Giving opportunities

To show our appreciation, we recognize Regina Foundation donors in our newsletters, thank you letters, and when appropriate, on the Tree of Life.

The Regina Foundation Tree of Life gives special recognition to donors:

$500 - $999 A donor is named on a half leaf
$1,000 - $4,999 A donor is named on a full leaf
$5,000 - $9,999 A donor is named on a stem
$10,000 or more Donor name is on a foundation block at the base of the tree

The Regina Foundation provides a variety of gifting options:

  • Special Gifts - can be made to Regina Foundation in appreciation of care received or services provided. Your gift can be designated to a specific department, program or service.
  • Tribute Gifts - A way to express your sympathy, or to express joy on the occasion of a birthday, anniversary or other special event.
  • Planned Giving - For more information regarding planned giving, please call the Foundation Office at 651-404-1104.
    • Bequest through a will
    • Life insurance
    • Life income gift annuities
    • Charitable remainder trusts
  • Gifts-In-Kind - Donations are deeply appreciated by the staff, residents and patients.
    • Appreciated property (residential, farm, business, commercial, cabin)
    • Appreciated securities, stocks 

Make a pledge

You may choose to pledge your support on a regular basis. You may either be sent an invoice or set up your account with a credit card for recurring billing with the time period of your choosing. Pledge payments may be made online by selecting "Pledge Payment" on the drop down menu from the donation page

Exempt status

Regina Foundation is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization as defined in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Gifts made to this entity qualify as charitable contributions for income tax purposes.

A variety of giving options

  • Hospital General Fund: Where the needs are greatest in the hospital. This will vary depending on strategic direction.
  • Senior Living General Fund: Where the needs are greatest in senior living. This will vary depending on strategic direction.
  • Great Rivers Society membership is composed of dedicated individuals with a deeper commitment to providing quality health care services.  This Society recognizes individuals for their altruistic and generous support of $5,000 or more.  Pledges can be spread out up to five years.
  • Partners of Regina is a unique and dedicated group of individuals committed to the advancement of health care in the Hastings community and surrounding area. This group recognizes individuals for their generous support of $50 to $500+.
  • Spirit of Regina (employee giving fund): The Spirit of Regina offers employees opportunities to help make Regina a better place to live, work and receive care.  Employees of Regina Hospital and Regina Senior Living provide funds for projects determined by employees. This is a great way for employees to get involved in the mission of our work at a deeper level.
