Care team

The Sleep Center is staffed by registered sleep technologists to provide the highest quality and educational experience. There is active involvement by a medical director who makes sure standardized practices are integrated into the care we provide.

All sleep studies are interpreted by a physician specializing in sleep medicine. Follow up care may be provided by either a referring physician or a sleep specialist.

Program accreditation

Owatonna Hospital’s Sleep Center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Accreditation is the gold standard for quality review and achievement. As a Sleep Center, this demonstrates to insurance companies and patients the successful completion of National regulatory standards. Additionally, it illustrates that all staff meet defined educational standards, that the Sleep Center has a standardized quality improvement plan and has demonstrated evidence of effective treatment outcomes.
