Foundation Board


The New Ulm Medical Center Foundation exists to enhance the health of New Ulm Medical Center patients and the wellness of the communities we serve.

Board Members

A board of directors consisting of local leaders in business, health care in the community leads the New Ulm Medical Center Foundation.

The foundation is comprised of volunteer board members.

The purpose of our board is to raise funds to help the New Ulm Medical Center provide exceptional patient-centered care within our walls and to the communities we serve.

Missy Dreckman
Executive Director, New Ulm Medical Center Foundation and Allina Health Regional Foundations

Missy Dreckman background experience is in nonprofit work as a volunteer coordinator in the clinic, hospital and hospice setting – which is what inspired her work in philanthropy. Missy’s soft spot in charitable giving work is the relationships she builds with donors and reporting impacts donors make for years to come.

Dreckman is an independent thinker, shares her energy with others and is a passionate professional who is donor centered. She enjoys the incredible relationships she has made with so many people through her work in philanthropy and volunteering. Dreckman is a great communicator, leader and volunteer and supports many organizations in her hometown of New Ulm and the surrounding area.

Dreckman is skilled in major gifts, campaigns, planned giving, staff development & engagement, volunteer training and management, strategic initiatives, event planning and program evaluation. She is a past board member of Kiwanis – New Ulm, ISD #88 Foundation, past Hospice volunteer and served as a mayoral campaign co-chair for New Ulm in the 2018 election.

Missy currently serves on the Women’s Networking committee for the New Ulm Chamber of Commerce, is the local chairperson for Leave a Legacy New Ulm and is an active volunteer in the New Ulm and Sleepy Eye communities – sharing the importance of volunteering with her children.

Dreckman is married to Scott who co-owns JP Plumbing and Heating, Next Level Services (a landscape and concrete business) and has his real estate license. They have three children and live in rural Sleepy Eye.
