Emily Marino — research coordinator

Emily MarinoEmily Marino, research coordinator, received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and continued to pursue her life’s passion in medicine at Oregon Health and Science University. After two years, she relocated to Minnesota and joined the Fairview team at the University of Minnesota to specialize in care for stroke patients. Her experiences in administering health care to stroke patients include executing clinical research, performing data analysis and implementing quality improvement.

In her former position at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Medical Center, Marino served as the regional stroke program specialist, where her work included providing inpatient care, developing regional stroke protocols for Emergency Medical Services, and developing and maintaining relationships with regional hospitals.

After returning to the Twin Cities Marino joined the John Nasseff Neuroscience Institute as a research coordinator.
