Mental health specialty services for substance use disorders
About one third of people with a mental health condition also have a substance use disorder. The Mental Health Specialty Services for Substance Use Disorders program addresses both issues.
Programs and services
Half of all Americans will experience a mental health condition during their lifetime and about 20 million Americans experience an addiction every year. In addition, about a third of those with a substance use disorder also have a mental health condition. The good news is that help is available and recovery is possible.
Allina Health offers a wide variety of programs and services for people who have a mental health condition, an addiction or both, regardless of age, severity or location. Our mental health and addiction professionals work closely with you, along with your other health care providers to treat your whole being because mental health and physical health are interrelated.

Opioid Treatment Program
The Opioid Treatment Program offers medication-assisted treatment, primarily in the form of suboxone and also methadone, to help patients addicted to opioids.
