Nutrition services

District One Hospital dietitians are available for inpatient and outpatient nutrition counseling and education. Our dietitians offer a wide variety of counseling and practical nutrition advice for chronic conditions and health concerns including heart disease, diabetes and obesity.

District One Hospital offers a weight loss program and provides an opportunity for youth individually work with and receive support for healthy weight loss from dietitian, registered nurse and wellness coach. The program provides education focusing on diet therapy, physical activity and behavior therapy. Learn about nutrition label reading, portion control, food composition, cardiovascular exercise, stress management and emotional eating.
