    • Transitional Rehabilitation Program – Golden Valley
At their own learning pace, over the course of their internship, Therapeutic Recreation interns can expect to feel like a valuable, respected and fully functioning interdisciplinary team member. Interns are involved with over a dozen ongoing programs, ranging from virtual reality/adapted gaming to managing volunteers/logistics of community outings to working with assistive technology, just to name a few.
    • Adaptive Sports & Recreation – Golden Valley
Weekly tasks for interns in our nationally recognized Adaptive Sports and Recreation Department require marketing, registration of participants, equipment inventory, scheduling of facilities and more. Our participants learn valuable life lessons that help them define themselves around things they do.

Interns will have the opportunity to work with individuals of all ability levels in 1:1 and group settings.
