    Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute's adaptive fitness centers are designed and staffed for use by people with disabilities. Assessment and orientation is required for all new fitness participants.

    How to use CK Active.

    Adaptive Spin Cardio Class
    During this 60-minute cardio class you will be challenged to keep pace using adaptive cardiovascular equipment. 

    Tai Ji Quan
    Tai Ji Quan is a research-based balance training class for people with balance disorders.

    Stay Fit
    A supervised/directed exercise-based program. Designed for people who can self-direct their exercise program and who require assistance less than 50% of the time. 

    Stay Fit Extra
    Designed for people who require additional exercise direction, or who need help with transfers and close monitoring of their exercise program. 

    Nutrition and Weight Management
    Offered in conjunction with Stay Fit/Stay Fit Extra programs at no additional cost. Learn healthy eating to maximize fitness progress and work toward a healthy weight. See Stay Fit/Stay Fit Extra class listings for details.

    Stay Fit FES Bike
    For those people whose fitness routine includes use of a Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) bike

    Massage – Professional Massage Therapist
    Options include chair or table massage; can be adapted for people in wheelchairs or those with special physical needs.

    A one-to-one consultation with a fitness professional to plan a program to match your fitness needs and goals. 

    Stretching Your Limits
    Enhance your exercise routine with staff assisted stretching. Cost: $15 for 15 minutes or $25 for 30 minutes. Discount pricing for multiple sessions.

    A tool you can use to reach your optimal health and well-being. Wellness coaches help you create an inspiring wellness vision and a practical plan.

    Team Fitness Club
    Join an energetic group of teens and young adults who exercise to music. 

    Adaptive Yoga
    Increase strength, flexibility, balance and the ability to focus inward through the active practice of postures. Discover a deeper connection between mind and body. 

    Beyond Balance (Focusing on Fall Prevention)
    This individualized, one-to-one exercise program focuses on fall prevention. Individuals will work on balance, general health and wellness. Benefits include increased strength, flexibility, endurance, confidence and muscle balance. An initial assessment is required.

    Big for Life
    For clients with Parkinson’s disease or other neurological disorders, held in the Fitness Center. Focus on reviewing therapy exercises. Receive an introduction to equipment and help with strength and flexibility training.

    Tai Chi 
    An ancient Chinese discipline involving a continuous series of controlled movements designed to improve physical and mental well-being. 

    Tai Chi for persons with strokes, brain injuries or movement disorders and their care partners 
    New members may begin the class on the first session of the six-week series.
