Internships

The internship programs offer introductory, specialized training in clinical spiritual care, emphasizing spiritual/theological integration, ethical reflection, and leadership in spiritual care. Interns experience clinical assignments that provide in-depth exposure to specialty areas, enabling each student to become an integral part of the health care team.

Time commitment for these units vary from 13 hours per week in the hospital for the super extended unit, 20 to 26 hours per week in the fall and spring for semester-long units, to 40 hours per week in the hospital during the summer intensive unit.
