For new hires

You will receive a written offer letter via email typically one to two weeks prior to your start date. In this email you will receive a map of your orientation site, a list of acceptable I-9 documents, information on what to do within the first 45 days of employment, and your offer letter.
At the time your job offer was made your recruiter either completed an over the phone pre-placement assessment with you or scheduled you for a phone pre-placement assessment with an employee health services nurse. If you have any questions regarding this requirement or need to reschedule your pre-placement assessment please contact your recruiter.
Watch for emails from this email address notifying you of your New Employee Orientation session and courses. No action is required prior to your start date.
You will receive your ID badge at New Employee Orientation.
It is a federal requirement to present identification to an Allina Health human resources representative within the first three days of employment. If this requirement is not met you will not be allowed to work. See the attached list of acceptable documents that you may choose from to complete the I-9 process.
If your position is eligible for benefits you will have 45 days after your hire date to make your selections. Watch for more information about benefits enrollment during your New Employee Orientation session.
MyAllina is a secure self-service intranet site where you can access important human resources information, including employee benefits, policies and personal information.
You will be given login access information on your first day in New Employee Orientation or on your first day at the site you were hired for.
When you first sign on to MyAllina an "Important New Hire Info – ACTION REQUIRED" link will be available on your personalized page. This link will allow you to sign up for direct deposit, complete your W4 (tax withholdings), sign up for benefits as well as other information you will need as a new employee.
Depending on your job title and business unit you could be scheduled for Excellian (electronic medical record) training and site specific orientation. Your manager (or designee) will contact you to arrange further training/orientation.
Dress code for orientation is business casual (i.e. no jeans).
Allina Health has adopted a Standardized Uniform Initiative.
At the time your job offer was made, your recruiter would have indicated whether or not this process was required. If your role requires a DHS fingerprinting/photograph, this must be completed prior to your start date. If you have any questions regarding this requirement, please contact your recruiter.
