Your gifts in action

Due to the generosity of so many individuals and businesses that support Buffalo Hospital Foundation, we have been able to make exciting updates and enhancements to the services offered at Buffalo Hospital. Below is just a glimpse of the projects we have recently completed.

If you have questions, or would like to learn more about any of these impactful initiatives, please reach out to Ashley Andersen, Foundation Development Officer.

Nature’s Healing Spaces

This two-year giving campaign to create an outdoor healing environment on the Buffalo Hospital campus allowed us to install walking paths, various seating and conversation areas, a rehabilitation walkway for inpatient physical therapy, beautiful blooming landscapes and natural grassy areas to reduce the need for lawn maintenance.

Buffalo Hospital’s healing landscape provides a restorative sanctuary for patients, a quiet refuge for staff and a tranquil destination for the entire community to enjoy.

You can be a part of putting the final touches on this project, such as a pergola, seating for the patio and native prairie grass restoration around the pond. Naming opportunities provide you with an opportunity to be recognized for your generosity for years to come.

3D Mammography

Through the generosity of our donors, Buffalo Hospital now offers the latest technology in breast imaging. Our 3D mammography suite is designed for comfort and privacy to make the experience as relaxing as possible. Also known as digital breast tomosynthesis, 3-D mammography creates more detailed images of your breast. The installation of the new advanced device is part of an Allina Health system-wide effort to provide the most effective tools available to help detect breast cancers at the earliest possible stage. This is another way we are expanding on our promise to provide exceptional care, close to home.
