[Shakopee Valley News, September 05, 2017]   St. Francis Regional Medical Center is offering a non-surgical weight loss procedure for people with obesity where diet and exercise have not worked and do not qualify for or want surgery. "We often see patients who are clinically obese and in desperate need of medical intervention to help them lose weight, when diet and exercise alone have failed and surgery is not an option," Allina Health Clinic General Surgeon Jayson Dock said in a news release.

In fact according to a new study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National Center for Health Statistics two out of three kids in the U.S. drink at least one sugary beverage a day -- and roughly one in three drink even more.
