[Star Tribune, July 03, 2012]   Allina Health said Monday it will invest $22 million to expand Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. The Minneapolis-based health system said the new 120,000-square-foot building will feature the Virginia Piper Cancer Institute , as well as specialty care, outpatient surgery services and obstetrics/women's care.

[WCCO-TV, February 18, 2012]   Allina's J.A. Wedum Residential Hospice is now open in Brooklyn Park. With 12 rooms for residents, it is the largest residential hospice in the Twin Cities metro and will help alleviate a shortage of hospice beds in the region.
