Are PPI antacids dangerous?

[WCCO Radio, January 01, 0001] A higher risk of death is associated with long-term use of popular stomach acid reducers known as proton pump inhibitors, according to a new study.

But Abbott Northwestern Hospital's Chief of Gastroenterology, Dr. Robert Ganz, doesn't agree. He says we should take this study's findings with a grain of salt. He discussed the study with WCCO Radio.
