Tick bite proves fatal for Minnesota man

[KMSP-TV, June 27, 2016] There's yet another reason to protect yourself from tick bites this summer. Health officials are warning people about a disease that can stop your heart. "Sixty -five percent of patients with Lyme carditis are men and typically younger, age 15 to 40," said Dr. Alex Campbell from the Minneapolis Heart Institute. "Nobody understands why, but that's what we see."
