Free athletic shoes being distributed to kids in need

[KARE 11, April 15, 2015] For the second year, Allina Health is partnering with the footwear industry to give away 10,000 pair of athletic shoes and socks to kids in need. The New Shoes, Healthy Kids events will occur at 16 Allina Health and community locations throughout central Minnesota and Western Wisconsin this Saturday, April 18. 1500 Allina Health volunteers will fit kids with properly sized shoes.
