To help anyone affected by breast cancer with treatment, survivorship and support, the Minnesota-based Breast Cancer Awareness Association (BCAA) will hold its 12th Annual Education Conference on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
Dr. Gregory Plotnikoff,MD,MTS,FACP is a consultative internist at the Penny George Institute for Health and Healing will be one of the featured speakers.
He joined KARE 11 News @4 to discuss top cancer fighting foods (cauliflower, cabbage, kale, broccoli, garlic, etc.) and how the foods we eat contribute to our estrogen metabolism, an important risk factor for breast cancer.
