Energy drinks possibly linked to more deaths

[KARE, November 15, 2012] Federal officials have received reports of several deaths possibly linked to highly caffeinated energy drinks. Abbott Northwestern Hospital’s Craig Bowron, MD, a hospitalist who has researched this subject, says he isn't surprised by the report because millions of consumers pound the shots each week.

"No matter how they market them really they are coffee in a can," Bowron said referring to the energy shot.
