Allina Health donates AED to Ellsworth, Wis. police

[Pierce County Herald, August 21, 2012] “We are often faced with medical aid calls when it is very important for us to have this equipment available to us,” said Ellsworth Police Chief Greg Place. Place accepted the automated external defibrillator from Heather Logelin, director of Community Engagement for the River Falls Area Hospital Foundation and Katie Tewalt, Heart Safe Communities manager, a program of Allina Health. All Ellsworth squad cars are now equipped with the life-saving device.
