[KMSP Fox 9 News, April 17, 2012] A British study is confirming a new ultrasound surgical treatment for prostate cancer has almost none of the side effects often caused by other types of treatment.
The High Intensity Focused Ultrasound treatment is yet to be approved in the U.S., but Dr. Peter Sershon, the Chief of Surgery at Allina's United Hospital has been performing the new surgery outside the U.S. for more than two years. Watch the full story here.
