A mother with cancer chronicles her daughter's fatal disease

[Pioneer Press, February 26, 2012] Almost two years ago, Roseville Area High School student Claire Frick went to the emergency room with unusual bruises. She was diagnosed with a rare and deadly childhood cancer: Stage 4 alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma.

To make matters worse, Claire's mother, Jane Frick, was diagnosed with breast cancer in October. Both Claire and Jane have been treated in Radiation Oncology at Virginia Piper Cancer Institute - Abbott Northwestern Hospital. Read their story here.
