U.S. Navy honors Mercy Hospital for employer support

[COON RAPIDS HERALD, August 17, 2011] When intensive care unit (ICU) nurse Chris Olson left Mercy Hospital in 2007 to serve with the U.S. Navy in Germany, Mercy Hospital didn’t leave him behind.

Olson’s coworkers kept in contact with him and his family, and Mercy Hospital gave Olson his job back in 2011 when he returned to the U.S.
