The 'dirt' on Unity Hospital's community gardens

70 garden plots on the Unity Hospital campus are available to rent. Gardeners can apply next March.

[Sun focus, August 17, 2011] Unity Hospital's garden plots, 15-by-20-feet in size, are tilled every spring and are open for use May through October.

Previously, 40 plots were available to the public, and those plots were full for the first two years the gardens were open. This spring, Unity added 30 more plots to the area.
