Police, fire and ambulance blanket residents with help

[Savage Pacer, November 13, 2010] At Night to Unite I had the opportunity to visit neighborhoods with a sworn officer in a squad car, the assistant chief in a fire unit and an EMT with an ambulance.

Local ambulance service is provided by Allina Medical Transportation at no cost to the city. In the first nine months of this year over 600 calls within the city have been logged. An ambulance is housed 24/7/365 at a garage near Highway 13 and County Road 101 with backup nearby at many locations.
